MUMBAI — In an emotional first look at the upcoming war drama Border 2, star Sunny Deol revealed that wearing a soldier’s uniform provides the core strength for his powerful performance. The actor made his first public appearance since the passing of his father, screen legend Dharmendra, becoming visibly moved while delivering a patriotic dialogue at a Mumbai event for the film.

“Whenever you wear the uniform, there’s an excitement that you feel, and you feel you are also a soldier,” Deol shared. “It’s just that we get the opportunity to essay the character of a soldier, and 99 percent of the time, it is the uniform that gives us the strength to play the part.”

Deol explained that while actors don't undergo full military training, the uniform itself bridges the emotional gap, allowing them to channel a soldier's spirit authentically.
